Hot off his run-in with the IRS, Wesley Snipes, 47, has reportedly expressed interested in reprising the role of Blade.
Talking to Arrow in the Head during a press junket for Brooklyn’s Finest, Snipes revealed that he would consider appearing in a fourth Blade installment “if the script was right”.
Blade director Stephen Norrington and actor Stephen Dorff have been reportedly planning a prequel to the trilogy which is said to focus on Deacon Frost, the villain played by Dorff in the original 1998 film.
Brooklyn’s Finest opens March 5 opposite Disney’s Alice in Wonderland. Directed by Antoine Fuqua (Training Day, Shooter), the film made its debut at the 2009 Sundance Film Festival where it was purchased by Overture Films. It also stars Richard Gere, Don Cheadle and Ethan Hawke.
