On the heels of being named best International Band at this year’s NME Awards and Favorite Rock Band at the 2010 People’s choice Awards, Paramore have been announced as the headliners for this year’s Honda Civic Tour. Among past acts chosen as Honda Civic Tour headliners are the Black Eyed Peas, Fall Out Boy and Maroon 5. Joining Paramore on the tour will be alt pop favorites Tegan and Sara. Specific tour dates have not yet been announced, but the tour will begin July 23, 2010 in Raleigh, North Carolina. Pre-sale of tickets to Paramore fan club members begins March 22, 2010 and general ticket sales open March 27, 2010. more supporting acts for the tour will be announced later.
