Corey Haim’s sudden death Wednesday morning has sent shockwaves throughout the internet community, and already one A-list celebrity is speaking out. Ashton Kutcher, who made quite a name for himself as a teen idol on “That 70′s Show,” posted a message on his Twitter page in response to the news:
“Rip Corey Haim ‘Childhood hero’
A number of tributes to Haim are expected to come over the course of the next 24 hours as more and more people find out about the news. both Haim and one of his iconic films, “The Lost Boys,” are already both trending topics on Twitter just a few hours after his death was announced publicly.
Corey Haim’s unofficial fan site also posted a brief message following the tragic news:
“It is with great sadness we have to announce that Corey Haim passed away this morning at the age of 38.
We will miss you so much Corey.”
